Company Profiles & Verified Signals
One fused record per company — funding, leadership, M&A, agreements, products, hiring and verified contacts — with Verified Signals™ that check what a company said it would do against independent evidence.
One profile, every signal
A Fundz company profile pulls everything Fundz knows about a single company into one record, so you do not have to stitch the picture together from separate feeds. Instead of jumping between funding, hiring and M&A pages, you open one profile and see the full trajectory of a business — what it just raised, who is running it, what it acquired, what it is launching, and where it is hiring.
This is most useful right before you reach out. You can confirm a company is in growth mode, spot the specific event worth opening with, and find the right person to contact — all in one place. From there you can act directly: SmartSend can draft outreach from the company's real signals, and you can add the company to your watchlist to be alerted when something new happens.
What's on a profile
Each profile fuses Fundz's signal lanes into a single timeline. The most recent activity in each category is surfaced up front, with deeper history available on the dedicated feed for that signal type.

Profiles also surface corroborating activity from Fundz's alt-data lanes — including new office and location expansions and recent trademark filings — that funding aggregators typically don't expose. Office and location moves are covered in Office Expansions.
Verified Signals™: claims, checked
When a company raises money, it usually says what the money is for — hire engineers, expand into a new market, ramp sales and marketing, invest in R&D. That stated use-of-proceeds is a claim. Verified Signals checks that claim against independent evidence Fundz already tracks, so you can tell intent apart from execution.
Fundz corroborates each stated plan across multiple independent lanes: real job postings on the company's own careers systems, building and office permits, USPTO trademark filings, and work-visa (H-1B/LCA) records. Because these lanes are gathered separately from the funding announcement itself, agreement between them is meaningful — it's hard to fake hiring, permits, trademarks and visa filings all at once.
The result is an evidence badge next to each stated plan on the profile, summarizing what the independent lanes actually show.

How to read the badges — and why they build trust
Read a Verified Signals badge as a quick answer to one question: "Is this company actually doing what it said it would do with the money?" That changes how you act.
- 1Confirmed — execution is underway. This is your strongest moment to engage: the company has both fresh capital and visible momentum on the exact initiative you can help with.
- 2Partial — momentum is building. Worth reaching out now and getting ahead of the ramp before it's obvious to everyone.
- 3Not yet — early. The plan is stated but execution hasn't surfaced. Track the company and time your outreach to when evidence appears.
- 4Contradicted — dig in. A stated plan that the evidence undercuts is a real signal in its own right — useful for M&A, diligence and anyone reading a company's trajectory closely.
The reason these badges build trust is simple: every badge is grounded in evidence Fundz can point to, not a vibe or a guess. A funding press release tells you what a company wants you to believe; Verified Signals tells you what its own hiring, permits, trademarks and visa filings reveal. That lets you open a conversation with something specific and defensible instead of a generic "congrats on the raise."
Verified contacts and acting on a profile
A profile isn't just for research — it's a launch point. Verified contacts surface the decision-makers tied to the company so you can go from "this is a great fit" to actual outreach without leaving the page.
Once you've found the right company and person, SmartSend can draft a multi-touch sequence built from that company's real signals — including the very events on the profile — and send it from your own Gmail or Microsoft 365 inbox. You can also add the company to your watchlist so Fundz alerts you the next time a new signal lands.
