Today: your next moves
The Today panel sits at the top of your dashboard and answers one question: who should I contact next, and why? It puts replies first, then follow-ups you promised, then news at companies you're working, then new leads.
Where to find it
Open your dashboard. Today is the first panel under the Ask Fundz bar. In the top corner, the open targets count links to My targets, where your whole pipeline lives.
The four kinds of row, in order
Every row says what happened, who to talk to, and the one thing to do next. Rows are listed in the order you should handle them.
- 1Replied. Someone answered your outreach. Click Open their reply to find the thread in Gmail. When you've set up a call, click Meeting booked and the company moves to the Meeting stage.
- 2Follow-up due. A next step you set on a target is due. Reach out with SmartSend, push it back with Snooze 3 days, or click Done to clear it.
- 3News at a target. Something new happened at a company you're working: a funding round, a leadership change, a contract, a product launch or an acquisition. That's a natural reason to get in touch. Click the headline to read it, or Seen to clear it.
- 4New lead. One of today's best-matched companies for your targeting, with the reason it fits and the person to contact. Click Add to targets to start working it, or Not today to hide it.
The person on each row
Fundz picks a named contact for every lead. When the reason names a role (for example "reach their Head of Corporate Development"), the person holding that role comes first. Click the LinkedIn icon to open their profile.
If a target has nobody named yet, click Suggest a person to contact. Fundz shows the three best people at that company. Click one to save them as your contact, and SmartSend is ready to use.
Reaching out from Today
SmartSend on any row opens a draft written from that company's news and the person's role. It sends from your own inbox, and you can edit every word before it goes. After you send, the company is added to My targets (if it wasn't there already) and marked Contacted. If they reply, it moves to Replied and shows at the top of Today. See SmartSend and your targets.

If you see no new leads
Leads come from your targeting: the industries, company sizes and places you sell into. If none match on a given day, Today says so and links to your targeting, where you can widen it. New leads arrive every morning.
