Talk to Fundz (Voice)

Speak naturally and Fundz answers about your leads, briefing, and account — and drives the product for you, opening pages, applying filters, and pulling up the right records as it talks.

What Talk to Fundz does

Talk to Fundz is a real-time voice agent built on top of the same intelligence that powers your dashboard. It is not a generic chatbot bolted on the side — it is wired into the live app. You ask a question out loud and it does two things at once: it talks back with a grounded answer, and it acts by navigating the product to show you what it just described.

Because it understands what is on your screen, you can speak the way you would to a colleague sitting next to you — “open the third one,” “scroll down,” “now filter that to fintech.” It is the fastest way to get a read on your day without touching a keyboard.

Available on paid plans
Talk to Fundz is included for paid users. See the current plan comparison at fundz.net/pricing.

It both answers and acts

Most voice assistants can only talk. Talk to Fundz also has a typed action layer into the app, so a single spoken request can pull the data, explain it, and put the matching screen in front of you.

Grounded answers

Asks against your real Fundz data — today’s leads, your watchlist briefing, a company’s funding and signals — and answers from that, not from guesswork.

Navigates for you

Jumps to Trends, Companies, Investors, your daily leads, or any record while it speaks, so you see exactly what it is referring to.

Applies filters

Switches Trends tabs and applies searches and filters on the spot — “show me the Compound trends tab,” “find companies hiring in fintech.”

Opens and scrolls to records

Resolves things like “open the hottest lead” or “open the third one,” scrolls the row into view, and opens the full profile.

Triggers SmartSend

Kicks off outreach by voice, drafting a multi-touch SmartSend sequence from a contact’s real signals for you to review.

Reads your morning brief

Say “brief me” and it walks you through your FundzIQ Daily Briefing — top leads, insights, and market context — hands-free.

How to start it

  1. 1
Open any app page (your dashboard, Companies, Trends, a company profile). Look for the microphone button. It lives in the unified command bar on your dashboard and as a quiet control on the app surfaces.
  2. 2
Click the mic and allow microphone access the first time your browser asks. The button turns live and a small transcript panel opens so you can follow the conversation.
  3. 3
Just talk. Ask a question or give a command in plain language — there are no special wake words or syntax. Watch the screen move as it answers.
  4. 4
To go fully hands-free from the start, use the dashboard’s “Start my morning brief” entry. It opens the voice session and launches straight into your daily briefing.
  5. 5
Click the mic again (it shows as a stop control while live) to end the session whenever you are done.
Prefer to type? Same agent.
The mic and the command bar drive the same agent. If you would rather type, use the composer in the panel or the Ask Fundz command bar — typing gets you the identical answers and actions without using voice minutes.

Things to say

You can mix questions and commands freely in one session. A few to get you started:

“Brief me on today.”

Walks you through your morning briefing — greeting, key insights, top leads, and market context.

“Open my hottest lead.”

Finds the top-ranked account in your daily leads and opens its full profile.

“Who just raised in fintech?”

Answers from your data and pulls up the matching companies and rounds.

“Show me the Compound trends tab.”

Navigates to Trends and switches to the view you named.

“Open the third one.”

Resolves to the third item on the screen, scrolls to it, and opens it.

“Why is this a good lead?”

Explains the signals behind a lead — recent funding, hiring momentum, and the best contact to reach.

“Find companies hiring engineers in robotics.”

Goes to Companies and applies the search and filters you described.

“Draft a SmartSend to this contact.”

Starts a multi-touch outreach sequence for you to review before anything sends.

How it stays in sync with your screen

When Talk to Fundz navigates or filters, it waits for the page to finish loading before it tells you what it found, then reads the real, loaded screen back to you. That means it describes what is actually in front of you — not a stale or still-loading view — so the conversation and the screen never drift apart.

It also knows the layout of the current page, which is why positional commands like “open the third one” or “scroll to the one from Sequoia” work. You stay in the flow of a conversation while it handles the clicks.

Tips

Start from the dashboard
The richest experience starts on your dashboard, where the mic sits in the command bar and the “Start my morning brief” shortcut opens a hands-free session.

Speak in plain language and chain follow-ups — once it has navigated somewhere, “now filter that to enterprise” or “open that one” pick up right where the last command left off.

Pair it with the rest of your morning routine: it reads your Daily Briefing, opens your Daily Leads, and can hand a hot account straight to SmartSend.
