Ask Fundz (Command Bar)
One bar on your dashboard where you type or talk, and plain-language requests drive the whole product — find companies, surface your best leads, set up alerts, pull exports, and understand why a lead matters.
What it is
Ask Fundz is the unified command bar at the top of your dashboard. Instead of hunting through menus and settings, you say what you want in plain language and the assistant does it — running searches, opening the right page, configuring alerts, or explaining a signal.
The same assistant powers both typing and talking. Type into the bar and it answers and acts; press the mic and it does the same thing hands-free as Talk to Fundz. It is grounded in your account: your targeting, your watchlist, your daily leads, and the underlying funding, executive, hiring, and acquisition data.
Where to find it
Ask Fundz lives in the command bar across the top of the dashboard — the first thing you see when you sign in. It is always available there, so you can fire off a request from anywhere on the dashboard without navigating away first.
- 1Open your dashboard. The command bar sits at the top.
- 2Type a request and press Enter (or the send button), or press the mic to speak it.
- 3The assistant replies and, when your request calls for it, navigates, filters, or sets things up for you.
- 4Keep going — follow up in the same bar to refine the result without starting over.
Example requests
There is no syntax to learn — just say what you are after. A few requests that work well:
Find the right companies
Surface your best leads
Understand why a lead matters
Set up alerts
Pull a list or export
Review your setup
Search by signal
Get around faster
Quick-action pills
Under the command bar are guided quick-action pills — one tap to start the most common jobs. They open the same assistant with a head start, so you never have to remember the exact phrasing:
Find companies
My best leads
Set up alerts
Explore the platform
Exports & integrations
Review my setup
Type or talk — same assistant
Typing and voice are two doors into one assistant. Whatever you can do by typing in the command bar, you can do by speaking it — and vice versa. When you speak, the assistant also drives the screen: it navigates, applies filters, scrolls to the right section, and reads back what loaded.
What happened to FundzGPT
The old standalone FundzGPT chat has been folded into Ask Fundz. Everything you used it for — asking about companies and signals, running searches, getting help — now happens in the dashboard command bar, alongside the actions that change your setup. Voice questions go through the same assistant via Talk to Fundz. One place to ask, one place to act.
