My Accounts

Why one list

A company used to live in several places at once: your Watchlist, your saved companies, My targets and Engage, each with its own buttons. My Accounts brings them together, so you can see everything you are working, and what changed, in one place.

What each row shows

   Where it comes from. Watching means you follow its news. Target shows its stage in My targets. Engage means it is on your Engage target list.

   What just happened. The latest funding round, executive hire, acquisition, product launch or contract in the last 30 days, with a link to the source.

   Who you know there. Your LinkedIn connections at the company, if you have added them. See Who you know there.

   Your contact. For a target, the person you are working with.

Companies with something new come first, then companies where you know someone. Use the filters for Something new, You know someone or On My targets, or search by name.

Adding a company

   Type a name into Add a company to My Accounts at the top of the page and pick it from the list.

   Click Add to My Accounts on a company's profile page.

   Add it to My targets or your Engage target list. It appears here as well.

Adding a company means you watch it: its news shows here, and in your morning email on plans that include it. On Strategic and Firm plans, Fundz also watches the company's website for changes.

Removing a company

Click the × on its row. Fundz tells you where it will come off before you confirm. Removing a company takes it off every list at once: your Watchlist, your saved companies, your Engage target list, and My targets. A target is archived, not deleted, so you can restore it from My targets with its notes and history.

The In My Accounts button on a company's profile does the same thing: click it again to remove the company.

Which company did you mean?

Engage target companies are typed as names, and some names belong to more than one company. When Fundz can't tell which one you meant, the name appears at the bottom of My Accounts under Which company did you mean? Search for the right company and pick it. From then on the company is in My Accounts and Engage follows the right one. Your pick is kept; Fundz never changes it.

In the Engage Intelligence Feed, activity at your accounts comes first and is marked In My Accounts. See Engage.
