Products: new launches

A product launch tells you where a company is putting its money and who it is trying to win. Products shows you new launches as they are announced, so you can offer what the launch needs while it is still new.

The Products page lists new product launches and announcements, with the company, what was launched, and the company's size and location.

Why a launch matters to you

  • Selling: a launch needs marketing, sales support, infrastructure and partners, right away. Reach out while the team is under pressure to make it work.
  • Recruiting: a new product often means a new team to build and sell it.
  • Consulting, agencies and advisory: go-to-market, pricing and positioning help is most wanted around a launch.
  • Founders and product teams: see what competitors are shipping.
  • Investing: launch pace is a checkable sign that a company is executing.

Find it

In the left menu, open Events and click Products, or go straight to Products. If you don't see it, click All tools at the bottom of the menu.

Narrow it to your market

  1. Click Add/Edit filters (on a phone, Filters).
  2. Pick Location, Industry, Date Range and Company size.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Fundz asks if you want to save the filter. Click Save + Email Daily to get an email when new launches match, or Save Only to just keep it.

To change those emails, or send them to Slack or the Chrome extension, click Manage Email Summary for These Filters above the list. On Pro and Strategic you can also type a plain request into the search bar, like "New SaaS products in cybersecurity" or "Any products from companies that just raised?".

Act on a launch

  1. Add the company to your targets. Click the + at the end of a row, or Add to targets on the launch's page. The launch is saved as the reason you picked it. Add to targets
  2. Find the right person. Under Related People, Fundz finds decision makers at the company. Click Reveal email to get an address.
  3. Write the first email. Click SmartSend on a contact. The draft mentions the launch, you edit it, and it sends from your own inbox. SmartSend
  4. Check for more reasons to act. A company that launched a product and also raised money or is hiring is a stronger lead. The company profile shows everything in one place.
  5. Keep notes in the Notes box, which saves as you type and is private to you, or click the heart to keep the launch in Saved Events.

Take the list with you

On Pro and Strategic, Get CSV exports the launches that match your filters, and Push to HubSpot or Push to Salesforce sends them to your CRM once it's connected. Exports

Launches at companies that fit your targeting also feed your Daily Leads, and a launch at a company you're working shows up as news on Today.
