Agreements: contract wins and partnerships

A company that just won a big contract has to deliver on it. That means hiring, buying and bringing in outside help, fast. Agreements shows you who just signed, so you can offer that help before they go looking.

The Agreements page lists new contract wins, partnerships and other agreements as they are announced, with the companies involved, the value when it is public, and each company's size and location. Where a public company reports a major agreement to the SEC, Fundz links the filing.

Why a new agreement matters to you

• Selling: a large contract comes with a delivery date. The company needs capacity, tools and suppliers now, and it has the revenue coming to pay for them.
• Recruiting: contracts are staffed after they are signed. The hiring follows within weeks.
• Consulting and advisory: new partnerships and big wins create projects the team was not sized for.
• Partnerships: see who is teaming up in your market, and which companies are forming alliances you could join.
• Investing: a major contract is proof of traction you can check.

Find it

In the left menu, open Events and click Agreements, or go straight to Agreements. If you don't see it, click All tools at the bottom of the menu.

Narrow it to your market

1. Click Add/Edit filters (on a phone, Filters).
2. Pick Location, Industry, Type (partnership, contract or agreement), Award (the value range), Time Period and Company size.
3. Click Apply.
4. Fundz asks if you want to save the filter. Click Save + Email Daily to get an email when new agreements match, or Save Only to just keep it.

To change those emails, or send them to Slack or the Chrome extension, click Manage Email Summary for These Filters above the list. On Pro and Strategic you can also type a plain request into the search bar, like "Government contracts awarded to AI companies this month" or "Healthcare partnerships signed in California".

Act on an agreement

1. Add the company to your targets. Click the + at the end of a row, or Add to targets on the agreement's page. The agreement is saved as the reason you picked it. Add to targets
2. Find the right person. Under Related People, Fundz finds decision makers at the company. A 1st badge marks people you're already connected to on LinkedIn. Click Reveal email to get an address.
3. Write the first email. Click SmartSend on a contact. The draft mentions the win, you edit it, and it sends from your own inbox. SmartSend
4. See the whole picture. Open the company profile to see the company's rounds, hires and other news next to the win.
5. Save it for later. Click the heart to keep the agreement in Saved Events.

Take the list with you

On Pro and Strategic, Get CSV exports the agreements that match your filters, and Push to HubSpot or Push to Salesforce sends them to your CRM once it's connected. Exports

You don't have to check this page every day: agreements at companies that fit your targeting feed your Daily Leads, and a new agreement at a company you're working shows up as news on Today.
