Saved searches and alert emails

Save a search

   Open a feed, for example Fundings, Executives, Acquisitions, Products, Agreements or Hiring Intel.

   Click Add/Edit filters and pick what matters: location, industry, company size, round type and so on. Click Apply.

   Fundz asks whether to save it. Choose Save + Email Daily to get an email when new events match, or Save Only to keep the search without emails.

Your saved searches are listed under My Saved Filters on that feed. You can save as many as you like.

One search with many states, or one per state?

Keep them in one search. Locations in a search are "any of", so one search with Ohio, Indiana and Michigan already finds every matching company in all three. Splitting it into one search per state finds no extra companies; it only sorts the same ones into separate lists.

The one exception is the email limit below. Split a search only if it regularly fills its 25 a day. To see more companies, widen the other filters instead: more industries, more company sizes or a longer time period.

What the alert email contains

   One email each morning, Monday to Saturday, with the new events since the last one.

   Up to 25 new events from each saved search, and up to 100 in one email.

   Nothing new that day means no email.

Turn alerts on or off, or switch to weekly

   Open Account, Integrations & Alerts, Notifications & Alerts.

   Under Event Summaries, switch each feed on or off, and choose daily or weekly.

   The same page has your other emails: the FundzIQ Daily Briefing, Daily AI Leads and alerts for companies you track.

Get the same alerts somewhere else

   Slack: connect Slack and choose which events post to your channel. See Slack.

   Your browser: the Chrome extension can notify you when a match comes in.

   Your CRM or a spreadsheet: Zapier sends each match as its own Zap run (Pro and Strategic).

Not getting the email?

   Check the search was saved with Save + Email Daily, or that its feed is switched on under Event Summaries.

   Check that the search finds anything: open it on the feed. A very narrow search can go days without a new match.

   Look in spam or Promotions for mail from support@fundz.net, and add that address to your contacts.

   If Notifications & Alerts shows a banner saying email is not reaching you, or that you unsubscribed, email support@fundz.net and we'll turn it back on.
