Chrome Extension

Hear about a new funding round, executive, acquisition or contract the moment it comes in, without keeping Fundz open.

The Fundz Chrome extension shows a browser notification whenever a new event matches your saved filters for the event types you choose. It is the fastest way to be the first to reach out.

Install the extension

1. Open Account, choose Integrations & Alerts, then click Chrome Extension.
2. Click Install Extension. The Chrome Web Store opens on the Fundz Extension page. (You can also open it directly.)
3. Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
4. Pin the Fundz icon to your toolbar, and allow notifications when Chrome asks.

Choose what you are notified about

1. Back on the Chrome Extension page in your account, go to Notification Preferences.
2. Switch on the events you want: Funding Rounds, Executive Hires, Acquisitions and Contracts & Partnerships.
3. Click Save Preferences.

Notifications follow your saved filters for each event type (industry, location, company size and so on). If you get too many or too few, adjust those filters. Prefer Slack or email? See Slack.

Not getting notifications?

1. Refresh your login. If you upgraded after installing the extension, log out of Fundz, log back in, then remove and reinstall the extension.
2. Check the site permission. Click the icon to the left of the Fundz address in Chrome and make sure Notifications is set to Allow.
3. Check Chrome's settings. Visit chrome://settings/content/notifications, make sure sites can ask to send notifications, and that Fundz is not in the blocked list.
4. Check your computer's settings. On a Mac, open System Settings, Notifications, Google Chrome and allow notifications. On Windows, open Settings, System, Notifications and make sure Chrome is on.
5. Rule out the usual suspects. Turn off Do Not Disturb or Focus mode, pause ad blockers for Fundz, and try again.
