Set up LinkedIn nudges (HeyReach)

Connect your own LinkedIn once so SmartSend can send signal-grounded nudges from your profile. It takes about two minutes — here's exactly how, and answers to the questions people ask first.

What HeyReach is (and why it's needed)

A SmartSend LinkedIn nudge goes out from your own LinkedIn profile, not a Fundz account. To do that safely, Fundz connects to HeyReach — a LinkedIn outreach tool that sends as you. You bring your own HeyReach seat (a separate subscription), connect it to Fundz once, and from then on nudges send from your profile and stop the moment someone replies.

Fundz never sees your LinkedIn password

You connect with a HeyReach API key, not your LinkedIn login. Fundz never sees or stores your LinkedIn password, and every nudge goes out as you — never from a shared account. LinkedIn has no safe way to send directly through an app; HeyReach is the layer that sends as you without putting your account at risk.

Connect your seat — step by step

    Go to Account → Integrations and find the LinkedIn (HeyReach) card, then click Connect. (You can also start this from the LinkedIn button on any contact.)

    Don't have HeyReach yet? Use the Create a HeyReach account link on that screen — it takes about two minutes. HeyReach is your own LinkedIn sender (a separate plan you bring).

    In HeyReach, open Settings → API and copy your API key.

    Paste the key back on the Fundz connect screen and click Connect. Fundz validates it and sets up your nudge campaign automatically — no campaign to pick.

    You're done. The card now reads Connected, and every contact's LinkedIn button will send a nudge from your seat.
Set it up before your first nudge

You can connect proactively from Account → Integrations, or just hit LinkedIn on a contact — if your seat isn't connected yet, the same setup panel opens right there, so you're never stuck.

How a nudge runs once you're connected

A nudge is a real multi-touch cadence, not a single message: a personal connection request, then a short follow-up and a gracious break-up if they don't reply — every touch drafted from the company's live signal and fully editable before you send.

Stops on reply — across both channels

Email and LinkedIn run as one coordinated sequence. A reply on either channel stops both, so you never over-contact the same person.

Sends as you, with restraint

Everything goes out from your own profile, with sensible daily and per-contact limits — a precise, one-at-a-time touch, never a volume tool.

One key, revoke anytime

You connect with an API key you can rotate or remove in HeyReach whenever you like.

Questions people ask first

Is HeyReach separate or paid?

Yes — it's your own HeyReach seat and subscription. Fundz connects to it; it isn't bundled into Fundz.

Does Fundz get my LinkedIn password?

No, never. You connect with a HeyReach API key, and nudges send from your own seat.

Why HeyReach instead of Fundz just sending?

LinkedIn has no safe direct-send API. HeyReach sends as you without risking your account — so your nudges look and feel like they came from you, because they did.
