Sync My targets with HubSpot
Keep one record, not two. Every company you're working in Fundz stays in step with HubSpot: stage, deal value, close date, next step, contacts and notes.
Turn it on
- 1Connect HubSpot under Account, then Connectors, if you haven't already.
- 2Open My targets and click Sync with HubSpot.
- 3Fundz sends every company you're working to HubSpot straight away. The button then shows how many are synced.
What goes to HubSpot
- 1Each target is a HubSpot company. If the company is already in HubSpot, Fundz uses that record instead of making a duplicate.
- 2Fundz fields on the company: Fundz stage, deal value, expected close, next step, next step date, lost reason, and why it is a target. They sit together in a group called Fundz.
- 3People become contacts linked to the company: the main contact and everyone under Other people, when they have an email address.
- 4Notes, logged calls and meetings, and SmartSend emails go onto the company's HubSpot timeline as notes.
Changes in HubSpot come back
Change a Fundz field in HubSpot, such as moving Fundz stage to Meeting or setting a new next step date, and My targets picks it up within the hour. The company's Fundz timeline notes that it was updated in HubSpot. Click Sync now on My targets to do it straight away.
Good to know
What it doesn't do yet
Fundz doesn't create HubSpot deals yet. The stage and value live on the company record. Salesforce sync for My targets isn't available yet, but the one-click push to Salesforce on company pages still works. Turning sync off stops future updates and leaves everything already in HubSpot where it is.
