What we measured: In an Oct 8, 2026 check of 84 US funding rounds Fundz had captured, 39 were old enough to measure (27 to 37 days). Apollo showed 15 of those 39 (38%) as funded, a median 20.4 days after Fundz had them. Small sample, one month; we will re-run it.

What Fundz adds

Timing. Verified events (funding, executive moves, acquisitions, SEC filings, hiring, permits, layoffs) the day they happen, including private raises that only exist as an SEC filing.

Relevance. Every morning the companies that changed are ranked against what you sell and to whom, with the reason on each card and the person to reach.

Relationships. Who you already know at each company, from your own LinkedIn network, so the first touch can be warm.

  • SEC Form D raises are captured a median 3.9 minutes after SEC acceptance and live in the app at a median 6.4 minutes (n=4,333 filings, Jul 8 to Oct 6, 2026). The slowest tenth take about 8.5 hours.
  • Of 1,140 new Form D rounds in our Oct 2026 measurement, 994 had no press release in any source we monitor. Those raises exist only as a filing.
  • 82.7% of delivered leads matched the customer's own targeting across 25 paying accounts (Nov 2, 2026).
  • About 18 open executive seats a week from SEC filings, 93% confirmed still open on review (28 of 30), plus about 22 new officers a week from Form 3 filings.
  • Connect your LinkedIn network once and each company in motion shows who you already know there. Connections are never contacted or shown to anyone else.
  • Your scored leads, contacts and network inside ChatGPT and Claude through the Fundz connector (Pro and Strategic).

Measured figures carry their sample size and window. Our monthly accuracy audit is published at data.fundz.net.

Where Apollo is the right pick

  • You mainly need email and phone data at volume and a built-in sequencer to work it.
  • You want a free tier to start, or credits for enrichment across a large existing CRM.
  • You already know which accounts to work and need contacts more than reasons. Fundz then adds the which-company-and-why layer on top.
