Description
Veridue, a London-based AI platform for due diligence and M&A in renewable energy and data centre sectors, has raised $4 million in pre-seed funding led by Episode 1 Ventures. Co-founders Daniel Csonth (ex-McKinsey) and Xander van den Eelaart (formerly at SCOR) built the platform to streamline project evaluations that typically take 4-10 weeks down to just hours. Additional investors include High-Tech Gründerfonds, Pi Labs, and industry angels Cameron Hepburn and Jeremy Palmer. The funding addresses a critical bottleneck where over 2,500 gigawatts of renewable and data centre projects remain delayed in global grid connection queues.
