Description
Crusoe Energy has secured $700 million in asset-based debt financing from Neuberger Specialty Finance (NBSF) to support the development of behind-the-meter power generation for its AI data center infrastructure. The financing will help fund power equipment and generation assets for more than six gigawatts of planned AI infrastructure. Crusoe operates supercomputing data centers for major cloud providers including OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google, with facilities in Texas and planned expansions in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Norway. This debt facility complements Crusoe's previously announced $3.9 billion Series F equity round closed in September at a $31 billion valuation.
