SpectaCell, a Belgian life sciences company spun out of imec, VIB, and Ghent University, has secured €6 million ($6.7 million) in seed financing. The round was led by venture capital investor imec.xpand, with participation from PMV's Flanders Future Tech Fund, InnovationQuarter Capital, Qbic, and VIB. The funding will support the development of a cell analysis platform designed to help pharmaceutical companies assess immune therapies from early research through manufacturing.
