Reverion, a German startup building solid oxide fuel cell power plants, has closed a $175 million Series B funding round led by deeptech and climate fund Kembara. The round includes new investors Allianz, KfW Capital, aurum Impact, and Carbon Equity, alongside existing backers Extantia, Energy Impact Partners, and others. Most capital will fund a megafactory in Germany to scale production tenfold. The company's SOFC systems convert gas to electricity with 74.2% electrical efficiency while capturing CO₂ for reuse or storage.
