Description
Orford Music, a Canadian cultural organization combining professional performances with training for emerging musicians, received $334,750 in federal funding through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund. The grant, announced on October 9 as the organization marks its 75th anniversary, will support original programming, professional residencies, and activities nurturing the next generation of artists. The funding comes separately from a previous $721,028 grant through the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund used for infrastructure renovations. The contribution was announced by Marc Miller, minister of Canadian identity and culture.
