OlsAro, a Swedish AgTech startup, raised €5 million in seed funding led by Industrifonden with Nordic Foodtech VC as co-lead. Existing investors Future Food Fund, AgFunder, GU Ventures, and PINC also participated in the round. The funding brings OlsAro's total capital to approximately €7.5 million and will support international field trials, commercial partnerships with seed companies, and expansion into drought tolerance and nitrogen-use efficiency programs. The company plans to commercialize its salt-tolerant wheat and expand into other cereals including rice.
