Dutch startup Fortaegis has closed a $50 million Series A funding round led by Singapore-based Serendipity Capital to commercialize its chip-based security technology. The oversubscribed round included participation from TEL Venture Capital (Tokyo Electron's corporate venture arm) and investors focused on manufacturing, defense, and critical infrastructure. Fortaegis plans to begin commercial manufacturing in 2027 while expanding FPGA production and developing application-specific integrated circuits. The company will use the funding to support production and deployment across the U.S., Europe, Singapore, and Japan.
