Coherence Quantum, a Finnish quantum technology startup spun out of Aalto University, has secured €2.78 million in seed funding to develop technology that simplifies controlling quantum computers as they scale. The round was led by Lifeline Ventures with participation from Mårten Mickos, former CEO of MySQL. The company aims to address the complexity of managing multiple control connections inside quantum refrigerators operating near absolute zero. Coherence Quantum's technology focuses on reducing the number of required control lines as quantum processors increase from hundreds to thousands of qubits.
