FWD appointed Gavin Chan as the group Chief Investment Officer (CIO), succeeding Andreas Hoffmann, who is leaving the pan-Asian insurance firm after four years. Chan started as acting group CIO at FWD’s Hong Kong headquarters earlier this month. Hoffmann will help ensure a smooth transition before leaving towards the end of the year.
