Wonik Robotics has secured USD 265 million, led by the Korea Growth Fund, to build mass-production facilities for humanoid robots and enhance AI capabilities.
Wonik Robotics announced a total investment of 350 billion won (USD 265 million) to finance its new production plant and AI transformation center. The Korea Growth Fund contributed 150 billion won in direct investments, with private investors covering the remaining 200 billion won. The funding will support the development of humanoid robots and localization of core components. The investment aims to alleviate bottlenecks in physical AI and enhance Korea's position in the robotics market.
