TUSK IC, a spin-out of KU Leuven, has closed its Series A funding round of €15 million to accelerate commercialization of CMOS-based Beamformer ICs for Ka-band satellite communications. The round is led by Matterwave Ventures, FORWARD.one, and Flanders Future Tech Fund, with participation from the Schaubroeck family and existing investors. The funding enables TUSK IC to scale its breakthrough technology for next-generation LEO and MEO satellite constellations. Earlier this year, TUSK IC secured a contract from the European Space Agency to support its technological advancement.
