Former JPMorgan and UiPath executives Caroline Grey and Jonathan Horn raised $12m in a Series A funding round led by AlbionVC for their forestry data platform, which measures the effectiveness of conservation projects and the impact of carbon-credit-related schemes. Treefera uses satellite and drone images, sourced from places including NASA and the European Space Agency, to map the world's forests and is also branching out into mapping kelp and algae blooms.
