Solidatus, an award-winning data lineage and metadata management company, has secured £14m ($19.2m) in Series A funding. The round was led by AlbionVC, with participation from HSBC Ventures and Citi, both existing enterprise clients of Solidatus. Emil Gigov and Jay Wilson of AlbionVC led the deal, with Jay Wilson joining Solidatus' Board of Directors. The capital will be used to transform how organisations view, understand and manage data.
