Sol Clarity provides transparent Electrodynamic Screen (EDS™) as overlays for solar panels that automatically remove dust and improve the energy yield/output power of solar panels without the need to wash the panels with water.
Frequent dust storms and chronic dust-carrying winds are characteristics of the semi-arid and desert regions where solar power plants are typically installed, leading to the unavoidable situation wherein the surface of the solar collectors, both solar mirrors and photovoltaic (PV) panels, get covered by layers of dust. And there is just not enough fresh water in the world to clean all of the solar panels we need for a net-zero future.
The EDS can avoid wasting environmental water resources and the cost of labor to clean dusty solar panels.
