Pune-based sales hiring startup Scooter has raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed round led by AJVC, an investment fund led by Aviral Bhatnagar. Founded in 2024 by Kartik Mandrekar and Saumya Seth, Scooter helps startups hire sales professionals by assessing candidates through real sales scenarios rather than relying primarily on CVs. The company currently works with over 50 customers and has built a pool of more than 10,000 sales candidates. The proceeds will be used to enhance its product and simplify the sales hiring process for both candidates and hiring managers.
