German start-up Phytonics, has closed a Series A funding round which will help launch its PV module 'anti-reflective' coating to the market. The figure is undisclosed but said to be in the low seven figures

Phytonics offers a broadband, omnidirectional anti-reflective coating with excellent light-trapping capabilities.

Phytonics is a start-up that developed an anti-reflective coating. It is inspired by plant surfaces and improves the yield of solar modules by up to ten percent. The ambition is to make a significant contribution to the switch to renewable energies.

It offers twice the additional yield for your photovoltaic modules than conventional anti-reflective coatings.
