The investment, which is double Rising Tide Africa's typical check size, will be disbursed in two tranches: the first on September 16 and the second on December 16. The capital will be used to purchase used cooking oil from its collector network and cover hub operating costs. Ororo Waste, founded in 2021, currently operates three collection hubs across Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, and plans to expand to 40 hubs across Nigeria within five years.
