Estonian medtech company Nanordica Medical has raised €1.6 million to launch wound dressing for fast healing of chronic wounds. The round was led by Estonian fund 2C Ventures, with participation from existing investors. Nanordica's Premotiv technology prevents infection and promotes healing simultaneously.

Nanordica Medical is an Estonian MedTech company. We are pioneers in advanced antibacterial nanotechnology preventing and curing topical bacterial infections. The company applied for several international patents and develops its first product, an advanced antibacterial wound dressing. A pilot clinical trial in the largest Estonian hospital showed Nanordica's wound dressing cures wounds that can not be cured with other methods and causes fewer adverse effects compared to the current leading antibacterial dressing.
