Description
Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer Modon Holding closed a USD 3.7 billion (AED 13.7 billion) syndicated debt facility, the largest financing transaction in the company's history. The facility includes a five-year term loan, a three-year revolving credit line, and a USD 1.09 billion accordion option. Modon will use proceeds to refinance existing debt and finance its development pipeline, more than doubling average debt maturity. The senior unsecured financing offers conventional and Islamic options in both UAE dirhams and US dollars.
