Securities and Exchange Board of India has cleared audio streaming startup Kuku Technologies' proposed initial public offering months after the company filed its draft offer documents confidentially. SEBI issued its observation letter on 11 September, allowing Kuku to proceed with the public issue. The IPO is expected to be in the range of Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 3,500 crore with a potential valuation of around Rs 15,000 crore. Kuku plans to use proceeds to strengthen technology and AI infrastructure, expand content production, and support geographical expansion.
