British recipe box company Gousto has completed a $230 million secondary placement, led by existing investor Japan’s SoftBank, it said on Thursday.

To date, the company has raised $361.5m (£267m) in funding in over 14 rounds, according to Crunchbase. The recipe-box startup will use the capital to fund another automated and AI-driven fulfilment centre near Birmingham, offering 40% more capacity. Timo Boldt and James Carter founded Gousto in 2011 when they didn’t have much time to go to various grocery shops. Gousto said its revenue more than doubled to £189m during the previous 12 months.
