Milan’s Domyn raises over $1bn in a debt financing round, making it Europe’s largest AI round. This structure allows the company to buy hardware for its supercomputer, Colosseum.
Domyn has raised more than $1bn, with about 10% in equity and 90% in debt, marking one of the largest financings for a European AI company. The funds will primarily support the development of the Colosseum supercomputer. Founded in Milan in 2016, Domyn aims to enable regulated industries to adopt AI and own their models. Customers have access to codebases for pre-training on their own data.
