Description
DaMENSCH, a direct-to-consumer men's apparel brand, has secured Rs 17.40 crore (approximately $2.3 million) in fresh funding from existing investor A91 Partners and new investor Tancom Electronics. The funding comes at a largely flat valuation of around Rs 600 crore ($63.5 million), reflecting market conditions where apparel startups are valued based on profitability rather than growth. A91 Partners invested Rs 15 crore for 887 compulsorily convertible preference shares, while Tancom Electronics contributed Rs 2.40 crore for 168 CCPS. The company plans to use the capital for operational requirements and future business growth.
