AgriZeroNZ has secured $117 million in new funding, split evenly between industry partners and New Zealand's Ministry for Primary Industries. This brings the total capital raised since the partnership's formation in 2023 to $308 million. New backers Alliance Group and Farmlands have joined existing investors including Fonterra, Silver Fern Farms, ANZCO, Synlait, a2 Milk, Ravensdown, and four major banks. The fund is focused on developing methane-reduction tools and technologies for New Zealand's pastoral farming sector, with expectations for one to two products annually becoming available between now and 2030.
