US-based venture capital firm Accel has successfully raised a $550 million early-stage fund dedicated to India, marking the first time it has raised all its global funds together. This new fund is intended for pre-seed to Series A startups across several sectors, including AI and fintech. Accel has previously raised $1.2 billion for India over the last 18 months. The fund will support early-stage companies targeting both Indian and global markets.
