Japan-based startup A Cabin Company has secured an oversubscribed pre-seed funding round to enhance its expansion in the country. This funding will help accelerate their rollout of mobile cabins designed for nature-based stays.

A Cabin Company, a cabin accommodation startup based in Japan, has closed a pre-seed funding round led by Seveno Capital, its inaugural investment. The funds will be utilized to strengthen partnerships with local landowners and accelerate the deployment of wellness-centric mobile cabins. The startup plans to open its first location outside Tokyo shortly and aims to roll out 380 cabins by 2029. The cabins, constructed on trailers, allow for quicker operations and revenue generation compared to traditional hospitality ventures.
