June Yoshinari Davis has been appointed as the new Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer (CDEIO) of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, taking over from Leslie Mays who is set to retire at the end of the month. In her new role, Yoshinari Davis will be responsible for leading the foundation's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy to support its mission of creating a world where every person has the opportunity to live a healthy and productive life.
