Vortex Energy Corp. has announced its collaboration with the University of Alberta on a research project aimed at improving hydrogen storage efficiency, safety, and scalability in Canada’s geological formations. The project has received a total of $1.08 million in funding from NSERC and MITACS. Vortex will closely collaborate with the UofA team by providing field data, samples, personnel time, and facilitating visits to its property in Newfoundland and Labrador.
