University of Manitoba and Magellan Aerospace are collaborating on the Redwing space domain awareness microsatellite project, in partnership with Canada’s Department of National Defence, Defence Research and Development Canada, and the United Kingdom’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory. The project aims to monitor and protect the Earth’s orbital environment by developing new ways of monitoring space objects from small spacecraft.
