The Eclipse Foundation and the Open Source Initiative have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on promoting the interest of the open source community in the implementation of regulatory initiatives on Open Source Artificial Intelligence (OSAI). This partnership underscores the two organisations’ shared commitment to ensuring that emerging AI regulations align with widely recognised OSI open source definitions and open source values and principles.
