Thales Alenia Space has been awarded a contract worth €107m by the European Space Agency (ESA) to supply six radar-based satellites for the Italian Earth observation constellation, IRIDE. The new satellites, built on the NIMBUS platform, will contribute to the important European space program in the field of Earth Observation, operational by 2026.
