Technip Energies has announced that the Long Son Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. (LSP) olefins plant in Long Son Island, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Vietnam, has passed its final performance acceptance test. The plant, which includes Technip Energies’ licensed ethylene technology, successfully started up at the end of 2023 and reached its full capacity shortly after the start-up. Bhaskar Patel, Senior Vice President, Sustainable Fuels, Chemicals & Circularity, expressed satisfaction with the achievement, highlighting its significance for Vietnam and the company’s expertise in improving energy efficiency through proven ethylene technology.
