Description
TA’ZIZ, a joint venture between ADNOC and ADQ, has awarded a $1.7 billion engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to SAMSUNG E&A Co. Ltd. for the construction of a methanol production facility in the Al Ruwais ecosystem project. The plant is expected to produce up to 1.8 million metric tons a year of clean energy-powered methanol and is planned to be completed by 2028, marking a significant step in realizing TA’ZIZ’s vision to drive the UAE’s industrial growth.
