Description
The Ontario government and Starlink have partnered to bring high-speed satellite internet service to 15,000 eligible unserved and underserved homes and businesses in rural, remote, and northern communities through the ONSAT program. The investment of close to $100 million will support the cost of the equipment and installation for users selected for the program, which aims to provide high-speed internet access to areas where fiber optic or fixed wireless services are not currently available.
