Description
The finalization of the contract to build the first elevated rotary flyover near Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal at Baiyappanahalli has been delayed due to complications arising from exorbitant quotes made by bidders in the second round of tendering. The State government might be forced to accept the minimum bid or go in for a re-tendering. The project, costing Rs 380 crore, is expected to provide easy access to SMVT station for passengers and relieve traffic congestion in several residential areas.
