Japan Airlines' and Sumitomo Corporation's joint venture company, Soracle, has signed agreements with Archer Aviation Inc. focused on bringing advanced air mobility (AAM) services to Japan. Soracle plans to launch electric air taxi flights in cities constrained by traffic or geographic barriers by using Archer's Midnight aircraft, with a total investment of approximately $500M.
