Description
Siemens Gamesa has been awarded a turbine contract valued at more than GBP 1 billion to supply 64 SG 14-236 DD wind turbines for the East Anglia Two offshore wind farm in the UK. The 115-metre-long blades will be manufactured at Siemens Gamesa’s offshore wind blade factory in Hull, supporting UK jobs and supply chain contracts. ScottishPower’s CEO, Keith Anderson, highlighted the importance of UK clean power mission and the significant investment in the country's green energy projects.
