SES Space & Defense, a subsidiary of SES, has been awarded a $3.6 million contract by the U.S. Army to provide Satellite Communications (SATCOM) as a Managed Service (SaaMS). The contract aims to streamline commercially leased SATCOM network services to be flexible and tailored to changing mission needs, with a focus on providing guaranteed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and 24x7 global Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) support.
